Saadani is an extraordinary and unique national park, but frequently overlooked by tourists dashing north from Dar es Salaam to Kilimanjiro and Serengeti. In Saadani, the bush meets the river where the river meets the sea. In a single day, it is possible to see lions, elephants, crocodiles, hippos, kingfishers and fish eagles.
